Boone County Voting Precincts

Posted on 28 January 2022 by KWBG

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone City Council has taken final action adopting their new boundaries for voting precincts within the city limits. The new boundaries are based on the data from the 2020 Census. The most significant changes in boundaries were found in Madrid. The rural precincts in Boone County were also adjusted and some minor changes occurred for the City of Boone.  The City of Ogden remains as one precinct. County Auditor Diane Patrick worked with Boone County GIS Coordinator Penny Vossler to prepare the maps. The Boone County GIS mapping site has already incorporated the new boundaries.
