BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Park Commission, earlier this year, approved moving ahead with some new play equipment for Milwaukee Park. Milwaukee Park is located at 1614 Southeast Linn Street. The Park Commission has $50,000 budgeted for play equipment this fiscal year. The Park’s Department also received a grant to cover the cost of removing the old play equipment a Milwaukee Park. This week, Boland Recreation began the installation of the new play structure. Parks personnel will complete the work with a mulch base within the next week.
