Early Voting Continues, Where Do I Vote Up Available in Boone County

BOONE, Iowa—Boone County voters continue to take advantage of the early voting opportunity at the Boone County Courthouse.  Voters can use the option during the weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The courthouse will also be open Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for early voting. Through Wednesday, 8,610 absentee ballots had been requested and 7,872 votes had been cast.  The previous high for absentee ballots was reported in the 2012 General Election when just over half of the registered Boone County voters cast and absentee ballot.  That year, there were 7,260 absentee votes and there were 7,202 votes cast at the polls. Attached is the data released by the Boone County Auditor’s office through Wednesday, October 28th.
