Shirt and Sign Sales Support “Shop With a Cop”

Posted on 30 July 2020 by KWBG

BOONE, Iowa—The Law Abiding Citizens of Boone group donated $1,500.00 to the Boone Police Associations “Shop With a Cop” program Thursday.  Todd and Amy Rasmussen were joined at the Boone Police Department for the check presentation.  Todd Rasmussen says he feels it’s important to remember law enforcement for the job they have to do and for their families as well.  He said the sale of “Blue Lives Matter” signs and t-shirts has been well received and the proceeds will help support the annual “Shop With a Cop” program.  Last year over one-hundred children took part in the program organized through the Boone Police Association, with each child spending over $100 for Christmas.
