Posted on 29 April 2019 by KWBG

BOONE, Iowa—Every year the Boone City Water Department, like other water producers in the country, releases an annual report about the city’s drinking water.  The most recent data is now available for the 2019 Consumer Confidence Report.  City Engineer Dan Scott released the report that shows no violations in the past year.  Issues with turbidity were addressed by rejuvenating the final filter system at Boone Water Works.  There were no Nitrate related notices.  The highest level reported in the past year was 6.6 parts per million, below the threshold of 10 parts per million.  The report is available for viewing from the city’s website.
