From the City of Boone: there will be a snow ordinance in effect at 10p on January 5th for residential and at 11p on January 5th for the business district. Ticket and Tow will be enforced.

BOONE, Iowa—Mike Shearer will be retiring in January of 2015 after 35 and a half years of service with the city of Boone at the water treatment plant. Boone Mayor John Slight recently recognized Shearer for his years of service. Arlen Wildeman, Chief Operator at the Boone Water Works takes part in the ceremony.
