A semi hauling cattle rolled into the median on Sunday approximately 3:45 p.m. The Boone Fire Department, Boone County Sheriff and Boone County Ambulance responded. The driver was assisted by bystanders and others helped with the cattle in the trailer. For five hours, ISU veterinarians and surrounding farmers assisted with removing the cattle from the trailer and transporting them to temporary housing. (Pictures courtesy of Boone Fire Department)
