Chelsie Wilson, Executive Director, Boone County Conservation talks about preparations for the new season for Boone County Conservation. A new dock project has replaced some of the older sections of the floating dock near the bait house. She says work is underway to get services up and operating for the new season. Wilson also noted that online registration for camping will be taking place for Swede Point Park and Camp Ground A at Don Williams. Aired Thursday, March 27, 2025.

Ondrea Elmquist, Boone Assistant City Administrator, visits about the upcoming meetings for the Boone City Council. She reviews information about the Public Hearing for the Property Tax Levy, a hearing that will be held April 7th at 5:00 p.m. She also talks about the other Public Hearings that will be held during the regular meeting. Elmquist also talks about some of the recent action  the council took to approve a bond sale for a sewer project started before Daisy selected Boone for it's new plant. John Roosa, Administrator, Boone County Landfill and Boone County Recycling updates information about the landfill. They are back to being open every Saturday. The first Saturday in April they being taking household hazardous waste for a couple of hours in the morning. He did emphasize if it's a large amount of qualifying hazardous material, other arrangements may be necessary. He also says yard waste will be accepted at no charge on April 17th, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday to the end of May. Aired Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Eli Stines, Boone Mayor talks about Monday's City Council Meeting. The Boone City Council set quite a few public hearings for the next Council Meeting. Stines pointed out the of the hearings will be the City's proposed maximum levy rate, which is unchanged from the current fiscal year. That will be a mandated separate meeting at 5:00 on April 7th. He also said the regular meeting is moved up to 5:30 in the afternoon from the regular 6:00 meeting. Stines also mentioned that the flashing red lights at Mamie Eisenhower and Story Street were caused by a weather issue during last Friday's storm and the city is awaiting the arrival of replacement components to return to normal operation.
