State Representative Chad Behn and State Senator Jesse Greene, Legislative Review. Both talk about the wrap up of the legislative session on Thursday. Behn talks about the activity of the Iowa House and also talks about what didn't get done and the work that will be done over the summer. Green talks about the final days, the drama over the eminent domain, carbon pipeline project and discusses whether it will be signed into law. He also talked about the property tax legislation and expects more to be done next year. Aired Friday, May 16, 2025.

Marty Lamoureux, Board Member, Boone County Historical Society talks about some of the projects and exhibits for the Historical Society. We started by talking about tours and visitors and they are getting a number of school classes paying a visit.  She also talked about a recent review of the Historical Society collection for Boone Biblical College and recommendations received about preservation of the collection. A big project is the buildings elevator. There is a need to replace the elevator and upgrade some of the heating and cooling systems and funds will be needed to accomplish those high priority projects. Aired Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

However, the next event will be held in Boone at the DMACC Boone Campus and will coincide with the city's annual cleanup. The Council did take formal action during the meeting to officially make Ondrea Elmquist the new Boone City Administrator. The Council received the audit report from Kevin Houston. The Council also received an update from Holly Stecker, Downtown Boone Mainstreet Director. The Council also approved letting the Farmers Market locate for the season at 628 Story Street.
