Zach Stier, Ronda Kelley and Candy Noelck from the Ericson Public Library talk about programs as they wrap up April and move into May. The past couple of years, the library has supported informing the public about Mental Health Awareness and this year they will participate with proclamations for the City of Boone and Boone County Supervisors the first week in May. By the end of the month, the campaign to get people signed up for the Summer Reading Program will be in full swing. Aired Friday, April 25, 2025.

Kris Blocker, Visit Boone County and BJ McGinn, Athletic Director, DMACC talk about the inaugural NJCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship to be played at Cedar Pointe Golf Course in Boone in mid-May. They visit about the work that's gone into the first ever National Championship event held in Boone County. Blocker talked about the number of businesses and individuals that have stepped up to help with sponsorships. Both Blocker and McGinn talked about the number of people that have volunteered to help with the event. Aired Thursday, April 24, 2025.

Eli Stines, Boone Mayor talks about the recent City Council meeting. Stines said the Council officially adopt the Budget for the 2026 Fiscal Year. There were a couple of protests to the budget, one written and the other verbal at the Public Hearing. The Council was also updated on a potential change for fuel service from FS Fuel Sales. The City plans to remove their current fuel tanks and their fuel management system. The Council agreed to a budget amendment to the current fiscal year budget and allow the Parks Department to use money being saved for a sand filter for the swimming pool and purchase a new heater. The hopes of getting another season out of the current heater did not work out. These are only a couple of highlights from the meeting. Aired Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
