BOONE, Iowa—Following an upgrade to the dock at the Don Williams Recreational Area earlier this spring, another feature has been added. Supervisor Shawn Bryant designated funds from the county’s Local Option Sales Tax for betterment projects to be used to acquire and install a kayak launch. Boone County Conservation have completed that project and it’s now available for use.
