Samantha Lass tied for 3rd place in the 2A high jump, clearing 5 feet, 4 inches for the Ogden girls’ track team Friday, May 23, at the Iowa High School State Track & Field Championships at Drake Stadium. 

The Ogden girls distance medley relay team of Breaunna Wenger, Sydney King, Lass, and Dakota Jones finished 7th in Class 2A with a time of 4:16.37.  

Ogden also placed 10th in the 4×100-meter relay, clocking in at 50.08 seconds with Aubrey Leonard, King, Wenger, and Taydem Graden carrying the baton. 

In the 4×400-meter relay, the Bulldogs finished 15th with a time of 4:10.37, thanks to the efforts of Wenger, King, Jones, and Lass. 

The state meet concludes Saturday, May 24, with finals in all classes.
