The Ogden girls’ golf team delivered a strong showing at the regional meet held Friday, May 16 at Jewell Golf and Country Club.
The Bulldogs finished fourth overall with a team score of 418—just 11 strokes shy of advancing to the next round.
Led by Meredith Kruse, who shot a 101 and placed 7th individually, the Bulldogs were in contention throughout the day.
Kruse came close to advancing as an individual, missing the cut by just one stroke.
Other Ogden scorers included Clara Kruse who shot a 104, Maddie Ellis who shot a 107 and Olivia Coleman who shot a 109.
In addition, Laurell Schlenker shot a 109, and Lydia Longhorn shot a 110.
The team’s fourth-place finish came behind Bishop Garrigan (391), Belmond-Klemme (407), and West Fork (414).
