Madrid boys’ track wins home relays

The Madrid boys’ track team scored 163 points to win the Ron Hamel relays Tuesday, April 29, in Madrid. 

Earlham was 2nd with 152 points. 

Jacob Farrell won the 100-meter dash in 11.32 while Kinnick Grimm won the 400-meter hurdles in 58.07. 

Brody Buck tied for 1st in the high jump with a jump of 5-10.00. 

Four relays, the 4×100 in 44.38, the 4×200 in 1:32.84, the sprint medley relay in 1:37.71 and the shuttle hurdle relay in 1:03.95, also placed 1st

Runners-up for the Tigers were Loken Velky in the 200-meter dash in 23.82, Morgan Maxwell in the discus with his throw of 135-09, and the 4×800-meter relay in 8:48.88.

The boys are scheduled to run at Van Meter this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
