Posted on 09 June 2025 by KWBG

It was a challenging weekend for the Ogden baseball team, dropping back-to-back games against South Hardin and Woodward-Granger, falling to 3-10 on the season.

On Friday, June 6, at home, Ogden was shut out 8-0 by South Hardin in a non-conference matchup.

Treyton Mitchell collected two hits.

Keagan Ristvedt, Colson Carson, and Christian Thede each added a hit.

Logan Ryan took the loss in relief, while Brody Burdette recorded two strikeouts on the mound.

Ogden fell 8-1 to West Central Conference rival Woodward-Granger Saturday, June 7, on the road.

Mitchell again led the offense with a double and the team’s lone RBI.

Tanner Rohe also doubled, and Thomas Bergstrom added a hit and scored the Bulldogs’ only run.

Bergstrom took the loss but struck out three in the effort.

Ogden will look to bounce back tonight in a conference matchup, hosting Madrid (3-5) at 7 p.m. at Ogden High School.

Fans can catch the action live on KWBG AM 1590 and FM 101.5, with sports director Ryan Wendt on the call.
