It was a challenging weekend for the Ogden baseball team, dropping back-to-back games against South Hardin and Woodward-Granger, falling to 3-10 on the season.
On Friday, June 6, at home, Ogden was shut out 8-0 by South Hardin in a non-conference matchup.
Treyton Mitchell collected two hits.
Keagan Ristvedt, Colson Carson, and Christian Thede each added a hit.
Logan Ryan took the loss in relief, while Brody Burdette recorded two strikeouts on the mound.
Ogden fell 8-1 to West Central Conference rival Woodward-Granger Saturday, June 7, on the road.
Mitchell again led the offense with a double and the team’s lone RBI.
Tanner Rohe also doubled, and Thomas Bergstrom added a hit and scored the Bulldogs’ only run.
Bergstrom took the loss but struck out three in the effort.
Ogden will look to bounce back tonight in a conference matchup, hosting Madrid (3-5) at 7 p.m. at Ogden High School.
