DES MOINES, Iowa—The Iowa Environmental Council provides a digital press release called the Weekly Water Watch which includes the data from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources testing for water quality state beaches. The information also includes data for county and city beaches.

Black Hawk Beach (Lake View, Sac County, IA)*
Lower Pine Lake Beach (Eldora, Hardin County, IA)*
McIntosh Woods Beach (Clear Lake, Ventura, Cerro Gordo County, IA)*
0 Beaches with a Microcystin Advisory
1 City and County Beach exceeds the state’s advisory threshold for E. coli.*
(City and County beaches do not report levels of algal toxins)
