The Ogden baseball team is off to a strong start to the season, picking up two wins in their first three games, including a 10–6 victory over Collins-Maxwell on Monday, May 26, at home.
In Monday’s victory, the Bulldog offense came alive with a four-run third inning, followed by two in the fourth, three in the fifth, and one more in the sixth to pull away from Collins-Maxwell.
Tanner Rohe had a hit and drove in a run, while Thomas Bergstrom earned the win on the mound.
Ogden bounced back from a 7–3 loss to Humboldt on Friday, May 23, where Treyton Mitchell, Bergstrom, and Keegan Ristvedt each recorded hits and scored a run.
Ogden opened the season with a 4–2 road win over Perry on Thursday, May 22.
Colson Carson led the way with two hits and pitched a complete game to secure the victory.
Rohe scored three runs, and Mitchell added a hit and a run.
Now sitting at 2–1, Ogden will look to keep the momentum going as they travel to face West Central Valley (0–0) at 7 p.m. tonight.
