Carly Busch continued her season for the Boone girls’ track team with a 5th-place finish in the Class 3A 200-meter dash prelims (25.09), securing a spot in Saturday’s finals.
She also placed 6th in the 400-meter dash finals with a time of 57.70 and narrowly missed the 100-meter finals, finishing 9th in 12.45 seconds.
In the field events, Jennifer LaMar threw 107 feet, 3 inches in the girls’ discus to place 20th.
Additionally, Jude Baumgardner and Tyson Shivers represented the boys in discus, finishing 14th (144’07”) and 24th (128’11”), respectively.
Boone will continue competing in running and field events Friday morning.
