BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Hospital had a number of events during National Hospital Week last week. Those events included recognizing the Daisy and Rose Award Winners this year.

The Daisy Award is in honor of the compassion and care extraordinary nurses provide every day. Congratulations to nurses Abby Miller, Surgery, and Kelsey Savits, Boone County Family Medicine North.

The Rose Award is in recognition of service excellence that is provided each and every day. Congratulations to Tony Mack, Rehab Services, and Steven Shannon Dietary.

Mikaela Kienitz, CEO, Boone County Hospital noted on the last Health Talk program on KWBG that there were a number of people nominated for the awards by their co-workers.
