BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Hospital’s IT Department has been working toward a software update, scheduled to be implemented next Wednesday. In a statement released today, the warning is about the potential impact for patients next week.
Boone County Hospital is excited to announce we will be implementing a new electronic system called Expanse on Wednesday, May 28th to enhance patient care and streamline services. As we go live with this system, there may be temporary delays in our Health Portal, appointment scheduling, medical records access, and messaging with care teams or when you come to the hospital or one of our Clinics for an appointment.
We appreciate you patience and understanding during this important transition. Our staff will be working diligently on Wednesday and the following days to minimize any disruption and ensure a smooth experience for all patients.
Thank you for your support as we make improvements to serve you better.
