Carly Busch won 3 sprints, and Jude Baumgardner won a field event at the Raccoon River Conference meet Wednesday and Thursday, May 7 and 8 at Gilbert.
The first portion of the meet was run Wednesday but was suspended due to rain and lightning, and the second portion of the meet concluded Thursday.
Bush finished 1st in the 100-meter dash in 12.17, 1st in the 200-meter dash in 25.20 and also was 1st in the 400-meter dash in 58.12.
Maleah Shivers finished 4th in the shot put with her throw of 34-10.00.
Jen LaMar finished 5th in the discus with a throw of 110-01 and also was 5th in the discus with her throw of 34-06.50.
Additionally, the sprint medley relay of Taylor Arringdale, Mia Graeve, Avery Howie and Carly Busch finished 5th in 1:55.49.
The girls finished tied for 5th with Bondurant-Farrar with 63 points, and Adel-DeSoto-Minburn won the meet with 175 points.
Boys finish 6th as a team
Baumgardner won the shot put with his throw of 51-04.40 and was also 2nd in the discus with a throw of 144-00.
Dorian Myers placed 4th in the 800-meter run in 2:05.02.
The distance medley relay of Luis Maldonado, Jordan McCloud, Maddox McIntyre and Myers finished 3rd in 3:41.02.
The 4×100 of Lucas Boucher, Noah Davies, Josh Ingram and Lucas Moore placed 4th in 44.23.
The 4×200-meter relay of Boucher, Davies, Ingram and Moore ended 5th in 1:32.06.
The 4×800-meter relay of Ajay Braddock, Chase Mueller, Calvin Cook and Myers finished 5th in 8:43.19.
The boys finished 6th with 60 points, and ADM won the meet with 158 points.
The girls compete at the Nevada Invite Monday, May 12.
Both teams will compete at the state qualifying meet Thursday, May 15, at Nevada.
Gilbert, North Polk, Ballard. Boone, Humboldt, Nevada, Webster City and Carroll will all compete at Nevada.
