The Madrid boys’ track team participated in a large, 16-team meet Thursday at Saydel. 

Brody Buck placed 3^rd in the high jump with a jump of 5-10, and Preston Wicker finished 4^th in the shot put with his throw of 45-05. 

The sprint medley relay of Mason Moorman, Farrell, Sonnenfelt and Sawyer placed 4^th in 1:40.28. 

Loken Velky, Jacob Farrell, Jake Sawyer and Tyler Sonnenfelt finished 4^th in the 4×100-meter relay and also placed 4^th in the 4×200-meter relay. 

Farrell was 6^th in the 100-meter dash in 11.69, and Kinnick Grimm was 6^th in the 400-meter dash in 53.80. 

Madrid finished 9^th with 38 points, and Des Moines Christian won the meet with 98.
