BOONE, Iowa—The Boone School Board took time to recognize the September ‘DORS Award winner for the Boone School District. The ‘DORS Award is presented for Dedicated, Outstanding and Respective Service to staff, students and patrons of the Boone School District. The award was presented to Brenda Harmer, and Associate working in Special Education at the Boone Middle School. Harmer has been with the district 20-years and recently moved to the Middle School. She was nominated by Special Ed teacher Monica Morris.
