Boone County Endowment Grant Opportunities Available for County Non-profits

BOONE, Iowa—Leaders from throughout Boone County have established the Boone County Endowment Fund to help foster community based philanthropy throughout the county. The group has recently received a state award totaling $108,610 which will be used to advance philanthropy and fund charitable projects benefiting the citizens of Boone County. $75,153 went into the Passthrough Fund for grantmaking and $27,153 goes into the Boone County permanent endowment.

Any 501(c)(3), not-for-profit, 107b unit of government, or potentially qualifying charitable organization operating in or for the benefit of Boone County is invited to pursue grantmaking objectives and obtain an application from Boone County Endowment Fund. The deadline for 2021 grant applications is February 5, 2021.
