BOONE, Iowa—The DMACC Boone Campus, in partnership with the DMACC Foundation and the Food Bank of Iowa, with donations from Hy-Vee, coordinated a special food drive to help the community right before the holiday season.  Everyone who came through the special DMACC Boone Campus Food Pantry Drive-Up Distribution event received a variety of shelf-stable and fresh/frozen food items.  In addition, 25 holiday baking bags were distributed so the recipients could create their own holiday treats.  A total of 48 vehicles, representing more than 150 individuals, picked up the food items.
