BOONE, Iowa—The first time “Edible Book Festival” was held Saturday at the Ericson Public Library and the children’s book “Rainbow Fish” collected two honors, People’s Choice and Best Entry from a Children’s Book.  Most Visually Appealing went to “Of Mice and Men” and “Pun”niest/Funniest was award to an entry for “Charlotte’s Web”

Lazerfest moving from Central Iowa Expo site

According to their website, organizers of Lazerfest announced Wednesday that the event has been moved from Boone’s Central Iowa Expo site to Wells Fargo Arena on May 11, 2014.  Lazerfest is a festival featuring active rock artists that has been held at CIE since 2012.
