On Sunday, the BFD will burn the house at 403 Benton Street.  Training begins at 8:00 AM; the controlled burn planned for after noon. Benton Street closed  from 3rd to 5th, and Mamie from Tama to Linn.

Street Repair on Monona Street

Boone Public Works has announced that they have closed Monona Street between 15th and 16th Streets for some necessary street repairs.  The closure starts today, Wednesday with the street expected to reopen by Friday, September 16th, weather permitting.

Supervisors Approve Recovery Month Proclamation

Pipeline Construction in Boone County

Work continues on the pipeline that will run through Boone County.  The pipeline is being constructed to move oil from North Dakota to Illinois.
