BOONE, Iowa—Boone Mayor John Slight and the Boone City Council recognized retiring Utility Superintendent Roy Martin during their meeting Monday.  Martin has worked for the city for more than 41-years.  He started in the Street Department, then became Superintendent of the Wastewater Plant.  In the 90’s Martin became Superintendent of Utilities combining oversight of both […]
