Julie Malin, First Grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary, was awarded the DORS Award for February.   Julie was not only recognized for her efforts with students, but for her participation in the annual Hope Foundation Festival of Hope.

Linda Vilmain, Treasurer for the Boone County Democrats, presented a check for $200 to Amber Ahrens at the IMPACT Office for food purchases to the pantry.  The donation will assist many residents of Boone.

Boone’s Claire Sandvig became the 2nd Boone Girls Basketball player in the 5 on 5 era to score at least 1000 career points with her 19 in Tuesday night’s win over Perry 65-22.
