Open Burning in Boone

Open Burning in Boone

Boone’s open burning period is now in effect.  The period is October 1 through November 15 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.  The fire department will be stricter on enforcing violations.  First offense is $75, second offense is $300, third offense and subsequent is $750.  With all offenses, there is a $60 court cost additionally.
