KWBG is looking for a FULL TIME radio salesperson, with an opportunity for some on the air work.
Radio Sales can be fun, challenging and financially rewarding…how well you sell determines how well you earn.
You need to like people….because you’ll be out making calls about 60% of the time.
You need to be well organized….because you’ll arrange your own sales day.
You need to be able to think on your feet…because things come up when you talk to folks and you need to help them create solutions.
You need to be able to juggle a lot of things at once….because we have a whole county to call on!
You need to be able to ask for money…because the more you sell, the more you make.
You need to excel in personal responsibility…because while there is a lot of flexibility, getting the job done is a must.

• Minimum of 1 year successful outsidesales experience
• Self-starter and willing to devote full time to developing and growing accounts.
• Able to find, develop, and grow advertising revenue at the retail level.
• Able to successfully exceed sales projections and budgets as set by you and Sales management team.
• Able to obtain and write copy.
• Able to work compatibly with management and sales staff.
• Project professional image with respect to dress and demeanor.
• Able to fully support company’s mission statement and core values.
• Must own a vehicle and possess valid driver’s license and proven ability to safely drive personal vehicle without exposing the company to serious liability risks.
• Must have excellent computer skills, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.

DUTIES: To develop marketing plans utilizing the resources of KWBG to help grow clients’ businesses. Calling on new, direct, and agency clients to sell the company’s services as an advertising consultant to assure annually established sales goals are exceeded. You will contribute to the success of the department and station by being an effective team member.
