FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Holmes

     BOONE, Iowa---A funeral service has been set for 91-year old Dorothy Holmes of Boone, Iowa and the Evangelical Free Church Home in Boone, Iowa.  A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 8^th at 1:30 PM at the Marion Street United Methodist Church in Boone, Iowa.  Her body has been cremated.  Burial of the cremated remains will be held at the Rose Hill Cemetery located west of Boone, Iowa.

     Visitation will be held at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6^th and Marshall Streets in Boone, Wednesday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  The family will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel, Wednesday from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM.

     Visitation Thursday will be held at the Funeral Chapel from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM.  Visitation will then continue at the Marion Street United Methodist Church from 12:00 PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:30 PM.

     Memorials may be given to the Marion Street United Methodist Church in Boone, Iowa.

     The Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6^th and Marshall Streets in Boone has been in charge of these arrangements.
