BOONE, Iowa—Boone Mayor John Slight delivered the Oath of Office to Logan Sturtz during the Boone City Council meeting Monday. Sturtz was the top candidate on the list established for the department by the Boone Civil Service Commission. He begins Field Training immediately and will attend the academy in Des Moines later this spring. Sturtz is from Ogden.
