BOONE, Iowa—The Boone School Board took time Monday to recognize the February 2018 ‘DORS Award winner, Julie Malin, First Grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary. Julie was not only recognized for her efforts with students, but for her participation in the annual Hope Foundation Festival of Hope.
The ‘DORS (Dedicated, Outstanding, and Respected Service) Award is presented monthly to someone in the BCSD who “really gets it” when it comes to providing exceptional customer service, which in turn results in a positive impact on everyone including students, parents, co-workers and members of the community.
