Red Coat Ribbon Cutting at Salvation Army Tuesday

BOONE, Iowa—After receiving a grant from Boone County Endowment Grow Greene County The Salvation Army was able to install a new handicap ramp to their administrative offices.

Captain Pam Kasten said they worked with Schrum Construction and Builders Source of Boone County,  the Salvation Army now has safe access to their offices for those who are handicap.   The Salvation Army received a grant through the Boone County Endowment in April 2017 which made the much needed upgrades possible.

Boone County Chamber Ambassadors were on hand along with Pam Nystrom of the Boone County Endowment Fund, Dan Schrum of Schrum Construction and Chuck Graham of Builders Source to cut the ribbon celebrating the completion of the project.

The Salvation Army would like to thank everyone who made this project possible!

Boone County Chamber Ambassadors take part in the formal ribbon cutting Tuesday at the Salvation Army Boone Corp Administrative offices.
