Boone Police Seek Information On Friday Morning Incident

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Police Department is seeking assistance for the public about an incident that was reported about 7:30 AM Friday.  Dave Powers, Investigator with the Boone Police Department, report that a juvenile female was approached by an unknown male near the corner of 8th and Cedar Streets in Boone, attempting to get her to enter his vehicle.  Powers reported that the female refused and fled the scene.  The unknown male was then confronted by a passerby and the male suspect left the area.

According to the report, the suspect was driving a light colored, older, four door sedan.  The male was described as being about 40-50 years old, white, bald or balding and wearing glasses.  He was reported to be wearing khaki colored pants and a red shirt.
