Two New Board Members at United

BOONE, Iowa—Tuesday’s unofficial elections results show that there will two new board members on the United School Board.  United voter turnout was just under 10% with 179 voters casting ballots.

In the United Second District, Brenda Standley is the apparent winner over Ron Miller with 129 votes to 41 votes.  The At-Large election went to Lora Weyhrich with 117 votes to 57 votes from Kristen Zehner.

United patrons also approved retaining the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy with 150 yes votes to 25 no votes.
