Tree Removal Could Impact Wednesday Morning Commute

Posted on 20 March 2017 by KWBG

BOONE, Iowa—Boone Public Works has announced that the planned removal of a downtown tree could impact the Wednesday morning commute.  A tree on the west side of Story Street has been identified for removal and will be done if weather permits.  It will require that the southbound lane on Story Street, between 7th Street and 8th Street, could be blocked beginning at 7:30 AM for possibly a couple of hours.  Those that normally travel through downtown during their morning commute should plan accordingly.
