Substantial Damage Reported After Car Hits Restaurant

BOONE, Iowa—Boone Police have investigated the Wednesday afternoon accident that resulted in a car driven by 78-year old Nancy Ann Ross of Boone running into the front of the Colorado Grill.  The accident occurred about 3:15 in the afternoon after Ross pulled into the parking lot.  The report from Boone Police indicates that she apparently blacked out, lost control and struck the building.  Fortunately there were no injuries.  Ross was checked at the scene but did not require medical attention.

Early damages estimates on Ross’s vehicle were place at $5,000 and $10,000 for damage to the building.
