Boone County Cattlemen Donate to Salvation Army

Posted on 09 December 2016 by KWBG

BOONE, Iowa—The Salvation Army, Boone Corps, received a generous donation of beef certificates from the Boone County Cattleman Thursday, December 8, 2016.  The certificates, which have been gifted to The Salvation Army for several years, will be used to assist families in need this Christmas season.  Families which have gone through the sign up process for Christmas assistance will receive a box of food with all the trimmings and a meat certificate for Christmas dinner.  It is because of donors like Boone County Cattleman that The Salvation Army is able to continue to do the most good in Boone County.
