Boone Council Recognizes Staff

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone City Council, Mayor John Slight, family and friends took time Monday evening to recognize several staff members for their years of service to the community.  Plaques for 20-years of service to the community were awarded to Bill Browning, Darci Newcomb and Charles Pepples.  Pepples is a commander on the Boone Police Department, Newcomb manages the swimming pool and Browning is a member of the Boone Fire Department.  Plaques recognizing 10-years of service were presented to Travis Baker, Rhonda Clayton, Mark Ellsbury, and Mike Fraser.
