Testimony Begins in Fazzino Trail

DECORAH, Iowa—Testimony began in the first degree murder trial of 41-year old Anthoney Fazzino.  Fazzino was charged following an investigation to the death of his wife Emily in the families home in Boone in January 2012.  Following several delays, the trial finally ended up in Decorah in Winneshiek County.  Jury selection was completed early on Tuesday and testimony began with prosecution witnesses on Tuesday afternoon.  District Court Judge Michael Moon has suggested the trial will last two-weeks or more.
