BOONE, Iowa—Two 4-H working exhibits were selected to advance to the Iowa State Fair during 4-H Extravaganza at the Boone County Fair on July 18.  The purpose of working exhibits is for 4-H members to develop their communication skills through interacting with their audience.  They must attract the audience and involve the audience in a hands-on learning experience.

The following 4-H’ers were selected by the judge to represent Boone County at the Iowa State Fair:

Firefly Friend by Kenna Redies and Makenzie Weyhrich of Boone

Flying Through the Air by Matthew Kordick of Boone
