Fire Danger High

Word from the National Weather Service, it will be much warmer  across Iowa Wednesday, highs will be in the low to mid 70s east of Interstate 35, and the mid 70s to low 80s east of I-35. Winds will be on the stronger side, blowing from the southwest at around 25 to 30 mph with gusts upwards of 35 mph. Additionally, minimum RH values will range from the low to upper 20s. As a result, a Red Flag Warning has been issued, effective until 7 pm today. An elevated to high fire danger will occur Wednesday. 60s and 70s are expected into Saturday, when some strong to severe thunderstorms are possible.
