Crime Victims Rights Week Recognized

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Board of Supervisors and Boone County Attorney Daniel Kolacia took time Wednesday to recognize Crime Victims Rights Week and also Sex Assault Awareness Month. ¬†Joining in were members of the Boone, Madrid and Ogden Police Department, the Boone County Sheriff’s Department, members of the Boone County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, supporters and advocates for victims of violence in Boone County. ¬†This was the first time a formal recognition was held in Boone County.
