BOONE, Iowa—Boone High School students made the quick transition to their new home, with the understanding that there’s still a lot of work remaining.  Boone High School hosted an open house Saturday, to allow the public to have a chance to see where High School students are now spending most of their time.  Ribbon cutting ceremonies were held and quite a large crowd of people took the opportunity to visit the new addition and also take a little time to wander through the recently vacated 1911 and 1924 portions of the building.  The open house ran until about 1:00 Saturday afternoon, but Superintendent Brad Manard says there will be another opportunity for the public to get a chance to visit the newest addition.  Boone and Bondurant-Farrar will be playing a boy-girl basketball double header on the January 31st.  Manard says the plans call for a “Pack the House Night”.  In conjunction with the game, there will be an open house for the new High School from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
