High School Thespian Troupe at State

BOONE, Iowa—Twenty-six member of the Boone High School’s Thespian Troupe #2854 recently participated in the State Thespian Festival, held at the University of Northern Iowa.  Boone students presented a one-act play, “The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet”.  Several students also competed in individual and ensemble drama events or college scholarship auditions.  Troupe Director Mary Neumayer said the Thespian Troupe one-act performance did win an award and junior Kate Paul received ten callbacks for her scholarship audition.
