Ogden 31, Mount Ayr 22

The Ogden football team traveled to Mount Ayr Friday night and spotted

the Raiders thirteen first-quarter points before Jonathon Thompson

had a 4-yard touchdown run in the second period

and Caleb Frye threw a 15-yard t-d toss to Luke West

for a Bulldog one-point lead at the half.  In the third quarter,

Frye hit Grant Heineman with a 6-yard touchdown pass and in the fourth,

Kolton Christle kicked a 22-yard field goal, then Frye and Heineman

hooked up again for a 49-yard t-d as the Dawgs downed Mount Ayr, 31 – 22.

Ogden, seven-and-one on the season and guaranteed a first-round playoff game,

will celebrate Senior Night next week against Central Decatur.
