Posted on 18 October 2013 by KWBG

The Madrid football team entertained Bedford Friday night

and gave Head Coach Randy Hinkel his three hundredth career victory

in typical Tiger fashion.  Owen Gibbons had two first-quarter touchdown runs

of 15 and 27 yards.  Quarterback Nick Novotny also scored with a t-d scramble

from the 45.  In the second period, Gibbons added four more rushing touchdowns

of 23, 91, 76, and 11 yards, racking up 304 yards on just thirteen carries

as Madrid won in The Jungle, 73 – 18, over the Bulldogs.  The Tigers,

now with a record of six-and-two, close out their season next week

hosting Guthrie Center.
