Discover 4-H Night Tuesday at Extension Office

BOONE, Iowa—Boone County Extension is hosting their annual “Discover 4-H Night” Tuesday evening at the Extension Office in Boone.  Natalie Hedlund is the Boone County Youth Coordinator and says this is a great chance for people to find out more about 4-H and she invites anyone with an interest to come to the Extension Office.  She says there will be chances to visit with 4-Her’s, play games and more.  Hear Hedlund’s invitation.

All new and potential members and parents are welcome to attend.  Youth 4th – 12th grades are welcome.  Hedlund says Boone County has fourteen community and five project 4-H clubs.  She says last year, there were 321 4-Hers in Boone County.  88 were new members.  Additional information on 4-H and “Discover 4-H Night” is available by calling the Extension Office at 515-432-3882 or by checking their web site www.extension.iastate.edu/boone/4h
